- When: May 19, 2012, 9am – 4pm
- Where: Zeke’s – Live music, arts, and community center in Ames Iowa
- Who: Anyone interested in how churches do what they do when they get together.
Last fall, we held a workshop on the “what’s and why’s” of a church music ministry. The theology and philosophy of ministry if you will. The turnout and response was amazing. Good discussion was had by all. I’m still hearing good reports of fruit being born from that time. You can go back and view all the seminars from that time if you’d like.
One major request we had was for MORE TECHNICAL DISCUSSION! To that end, we are holding a second workshop, on May 19, at the same location.
Lord willing, topics will range from leadership of a ministry, bands, practices, and corporate worship times, to sound system philosophy and practice, guitar gear rigs, pianos, drums, vocals, etc, the whole spectrum of implementing the philosophies we discussed in the last seminar.
Please join us for this time, seating will be limited to 100 registrants, lunch will be catered, snacks will be provided, and a good time will be had by all. The cost will be $25 per person.
If you think this would interest any other music ministry member you know, please pass this on to them!
Thanks,
Matt Heerema
